Yes, I do celebrate Thanksgiving, and I would like some simple and inexpensive recipes for seasoned or unseasoned Tofurky. Yum!

Re: Simple, Inexepensive Tofurky Recipes?
Wed, November 19, 2008 - 12:05 AMI've never cooked the chunk of Tofurky vegetarians and vegans sometimes serve at Thanksgiving. I haven't heard the best reviews about it though, so probably a good recipe would be needed for success.
I do buy sliced Tofurky often though. I prefer the unseasoned kind. It makes great sandwiches, which remind me of when I was a child and ate Turkey sandwiches for the days following Thanksgiving. I make my Tofurky sandwiches with whole grain bread, avocado, tomato and plenty of lettuce. Occasionally I use mustard or veganaise on it, too. -

Wed, November 19, 2008 - 12:26 AMWell I was just browsing some photos and as if to prove me wrong, here is someone who cooked Tofurky and had it come out just fine. Here's the picture, if it helps at all.

Wed, November 19, 2008 - 3:39 PMHey, Cristie:
Thanks so much. Now, I'll have an idea of what it looks like. This is my first time preparing tofurky. So, I'm a bit nervous.
