    I'm a vegetarian mycellf, but i agree with him. I know a lot more about where food comes from, and i have raised, killed and eaten cattle, hogs and chickens. It would be good for all concerned if people were much more closely connected to the sources of their food. It is a tragedy that it is the way it is now, a tragedy for the people, the animals and the land.

    I am very aware of this.
    It is because all the ancient varieties of wheat and other grains that were usefully have been killed off or are not used. That is the blight of monoculture.
